A room with a view...

As you can see by this photo two of the three windows are up in Papa's Place. Our builder hopes to get the third in tomorrow before the "big nor'easter" hits us this weekend.

It also turns out that our neighbor is ol' high school buddies with our builder and says he's a great carpenter, which - we could already tell!

Jocelyn is getting excited about her room -- it's really coming together nicely -- and we're anxiously anticipating our first party so we can show it off.

Right now the big debate is to cathedral ceiling or not to. That is the question. Any opinions?

Oh, and Dave... about those stairs... what'll it take to get 'em painted already? ;-)

Cheers, S.

Stacey, cathedral ceilings may look nice, but from what I have heard, they are a b*t*h on the heating bill...all that empty space that needs to be kept warm or the rest of the room stays cold. I say go with a normal 8' ceiling - you will appreciate it when you are paying college tuition.
